David Watkins

David has a passion to see his clients realise their full potential in both their business and personal lives, helping them achieve the right balance and focus.  With Shirlaws, he works with business owners, executive and senior management teams on vision, strategy, innovation, leadership and teamwork development.  His experienced insight with business integration, technology deployment and product innovation provide clients with differentiated opportunities.

David joined Shirlaws in 2009 after returning to Australia from an overseas posting managing global teams with an oil industry multi-national. His 25 years plus experience ranges from consulting to or management in, the large natural resource corporations such as Shell, Western Mining Corp and Woodside Energy; management roles in SMEs and building his own software and consulting/service business.

David lives in a Perth northern beach suburb with his family, enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, golf and is a keen West Coast Eagles supporter.  An amateur musician, David enjoys rehearsals with others, playing live and dreams of "laying down that finest track" for Green Wongi RecordsTM, his home studio.
