Karin Hawkins

Karin joined Shirlaws in 2009 bringing with her extensive experience in building culturally and commercially successful teams. Her passion is to see talented people with different skills, experiences and personalities working together to achieve great things. 

Previously a client of Shirlaws, Karin has extensive experience in corporate and mid tier financial service companies having successfully held senior roles in all aspects of managing and running businesses including sales, strategy, performance management; culture and engagement; risk management and process re-engineering. Immediately prior to joining Shirlaws, Karin led a highly successful national sales team in ANZ which exceeded targets by identifying a profitable niche market and capturing it through innovative service delivery. 

Karin’s talent is to deliver strong commercial results in tandem with building a unifying culture of performance, growth and integrity which supports ongoing commercial success. She is an energising and engaging public speaker and is highly sought after for conferences, training and facilitation. 

Lifelong learning is one of Karin’s key values. She holds masters degrees in policy and management and is part of the presenter panel for MGSM’s Executive Development Program.
