Reuben’s unwavering premise as a business coach is “create the right environment within the business, and the commercials will follow". Reuben is committed to the business leader and manager achieving clarity and a sense of control of the ‘now’. The fresh perspective is leveraged with timely decisions that grow both people and the ‘bottom line’.

Prior to business coaching, Reuben spent over a decade as an officer in the Australian Army. This career provided a rich experience in managing an organisation's effectiveness for very ‘real’ outcomes in extreme contexts. The resultant growth process as a leader and manager in a mission-critical supply chain is arguably second to none.

Since leaving Defence, Reuben has spent most of the last decade consulting, advising and coaching across multi-nationals to SMEs in numerous industries. Examples include Energy, Banking & Financial, Transport, Manufacturing, Construction, Tourism, Professional Services, Emergency Services, Tertiary Education and State Government.

Reuben partnered with Shirlaws in late 2010 due to an affinity with their ‘love’ philosophy toward business, and a time-proven capability in achieving massive performance in businesses and people globally.

Reuben lives in Brisbane, holds an MBA from Deakin University and is married with a 10 year old son and a ‘furry’ daughter in the form of a Springer Spaniel. Reuben is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and maintains interests in a number of businesses across the property, motorcycle and professional services industries. He is also a retired and therefore, frustrated rugby union tragic.
