
Sam Ghebranious
Sam joined Shirlaws as a coach in January 2010. He brings with him over 25 years experience in Sales and Marketing management in the IT industry covering the Asia Pacific region. Sam is a proven, energetic and passionate strategic thinker with strong communication skills, a strong ability to position a product/service, to build or rejuvenate all functions of an organization and/or bring it to the next level.
Sam holds an MBA in Asian Studies with University of Western Sydney to compliment his experience in Asia Pacific. Prior to this, he was Senior Director of Asia Pacific at Lumension (formally PatchLink and Securewave), Managing Director Indian Sub-Continent for Borland Software Corporation.
Before this assignment, he was Managing Director ASEAN for Novell Inc. In this role, he had geographical responsibility for Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Indo-China and Pakistan. In addition, he managed the Singapore subsidiary, which also housed the Asian regional team with a matrix reporting structure.
Prior to that he was with AST Computers for 10 years, starting as a Regional Sales Manager in Australia with the founding team, to Country Manager of New Zealand and then Managing Director of South East Asia including Korea where he was based in Singapore. Sam started his career as a Grace Bros Cadet in Sydney where he received his fundamental training on all aspects of retail.
In 1997, he was awarded the status of Senior Member of the Singapore Computer Society and served as an Executive Committee Member of the Singapore Computer Society from 1998-2005. Some of his key speaking events on issues affecting the IT industry include:

Sam specializes in Start-up’s to Enterprise and Government, CXO’s, Business owners, company director’s, departmental and divisional heads/Managers, IT, Retail, Supply Chain, Telecommunication, High Tech, and Government.
Sam is married and has 2 children; he enjoys his time with family, reading and playing golf.
