Stephen Shepherd

Stephen joined Shirlaws in early 2001 and is a partner and shareholder. Whilst he coaches a wide range of businesses, Stephen has developed a specialty in working with mid-tier professional and financial service firms. Stephen also facilitates strategic retreats, CEO workshops and coaches several CEOs. He has a passion for helping companies and their owners become clear and aligned as to what they want to build and making the shifts required to achieve that vision. 

Stephen commenced his career as a Chartered Accountant with the Corporate Recovery and Reconstruction division of KPMG in Sydney and London. On his return from London, Stephen was recruited by NAB. During his six years with NAB he held various senior credit and regional management positions. Immediately prior to joining Shirlaws, Stephen was Chief Operating Officer for The Strategist Group who provide specialist advice and services in relation to Self Managed Super Funds.

In his spare time Stephen loves surfing and watching Sophie (10) and Sam (5) play soccer. He also chairs Heartkids Australia, a charity dedicated to helping children who have heart disease along with their families.
