Maurice Trapp

Maurice Trapp has been involved with Shirlaws since its inauguration in New Zealand in 2006. With his previous experience as a renowned rugby coach, together with his 30 years of running his own business in the Financial Service Industry, Maurice makes a good judge of the value that Shirlaws offers to NZ businesses.

Maurice has had first hand experience at structuring succession plans in his own business and for others. He is an advocate for developing, managing and promoting those people who have aspirations to succeed. He believes that the energy and passion exhibited by top, winning sports teams grow from strong cultures within those enterprises. Similarly, the foundations for any business are the people within that business and the extent of their belief in their own self worth.
