Shirlaws Pty Ltd ACN 083 028 880 ("Shirlaws", "we" or "us") is committed to ensuring the protection of personal information collected by it in the conduct of its business. For this reason Shirlaws complies with the National Privacy Principles ("NPPs") set out in Schedule 3 to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Our Privacy Policy is designed to inform our clients, and others who deal with us, about how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.

What is personal information and how do we collect it?

Shirlaws defines “Personal Information” as identifiable information  such as your name,  address, telephone numbers, credit card details, email addresses, username and  password..

Shirlaws collects personal information about individuals (including our clients, persons associated with or employed by our clients, or our business contacts), in order to provide our business coaching services and to effectively manage our business relationships.

The types of personal information we collect may be business contact details or may involve detailed knowledge of an individual's or a business' financial and personal circumstances depending on the particular service we are required to provide.

Shirlaws generally uses personal information to provide specified professional services, and to raise awareness about recent business related developments or events that may be of relevance or interest. Personal information is shared within Shirlaws in order to communicate information about our wide range of business services or latest business solutions.

What about personal

Shirlaws also collects information via the “Contact us” , “Subscribe” and Events registration pages of  this website. We collect e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and the website, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, name, contact  number, addresses, telephone number and business information. We also collect payment details including billing details and credit card numbers via our secure payment gateway managed by DirectOne. information you collect from the website?

We use an external payment gateway DirectOne  (www.directone.com.au) ) for online payments to safeguard our clients credit card details and do not keep these on file internally for any purposes other than payment for the services that have been requested by the client.

The information we collect online  is used to improve the content of our Web page, contact  consumers  about updates to our Web site content and events and is  used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes.

If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by completing our “Contact Us” form or unsubscribing to any communication you may receive from us in the future.

If you send another person an e-mail from the website referring that person to the website, any “referral” information you provide is used on a one-time basis to facilitate this communication and is not further retained by Shirlaws.

If you supply us with your postal address on-line you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed on-line.

When you voluntarily disclose your Personal Information in a blog area, that Personal Information may be collected and used by other users of the website. This may result in unsolicited messages or e-mails from other users or third parties.

We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and we will use for these new purposes only data collected from the time of the policy change forward. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our website periodically.

 

Be advised, that Shirlaws  will release your Personal Information if required to do so by law, search warrant, subpoena, or court order.

Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by sending a message through the “Contact Us” form

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) that we maintain about them, contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number) that we maintain about them , a description of information that we maintain about them.

Please do not provide Shirlaws with any personal information if you do not wish to be contacted by Shirlaws Pty Ltd.

Shirlaws takes reasonable steps to protect personal information it holds from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. If you are submitting personal information over the internet that you wish to remain private, please note that while all attempts are made to secure information transmitted to this site, there are inherent risks in transmitting information across the internet. Shirlaws will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information when it is no longer needed. All

While Shirlaws  takes reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information once received, Shirlaws  cannot ensure or warranty the security of any Personal Information that you transmit.
